Description

Excitation functions for 52 nuclear reactions induced by protons, deuterons or alpha-particles in the regions Z=51-55 and Z=79-83 have been calculated on the basis of two versions of the code ALICE: ALICE-87 and ALICE-IPPE 96. For the most of the 52 reactions comparison of calculated and experimental data and statistical analysis have been performed. It is shown that the new ALICE-IPPE 96 version gives a better description of the experimental data in a wide energy region up to 100 MeV, especially for proton induced reactions. This version appears to be an useful tool for the prediction of unknown excitation functions and for the estimation of optimal conditions for radionuclide production and radionuclidic impurity levels
