Description
It has been established that recrystallization after irradiation of HgTe monocrystals results in the formation of monocrystal layers with the same parameters of unit cell as before the irradiation. In p-type HgTe samples an increase of hole concentration is observed and in n-type samples-conversion of conductivity type. Mechanical properties of surface of recrystallized layers are not homogeneous which is to be taken into account when preparing structures on HgTe basis using laser equipment
