Description
Solid plastic pollution has been the most critical concerning worldwide in the past decades. Recent studies in Brazil have shown that Polypropylene resin is the most polymeric resin used in industrial scale, representing more than 20% of all. Ecofriendly strategies have been developed trying to transform from linear to a circular production of these materials. Despite some doesn't have potential do repolymerize, pyrolysis came to change waste incineration into fuel production and give byproducts and wastes a way to manage energy. This study identifies and evaluate Organic Liquid Products (OLP) that came from Polypropylene Industrial waste thermical and thermo-catalytic pyrolysis and Na2CO3catalyst was chosen. The final temperature of 500 deg C was determined and controller's temperature ramp defined was of 10 deg C/min, with background (Tfundo) and top (Ttopo) temperatures monitored, the results of thermical and thermo-catalytic pyrolysis density reached 0,853 g/ml and 0,838 g/ml respectively, as well as cinematic viscosity between 0,74 and 1,03 cSt and acidity values less than 0,5 mg NaOH/ g sample compared with known fuels from Brazilian Petroleum and Gas National Agency (ANP) and studies. Data analysis allowed to observe bed-fixed reactor utilization and non-utilization variation between them, as well as gas formation average time and process yield, also its most probable area for gasoline hydrocarbon compounds.
