Scandium sulfate solubility in sulfuric acid solutions at 90 deg C

Description
By isothermal method the solubility in system Sc2(SO4)3-H2SO4-H2O in the range of SO3 contents 0-52.3 mass % at 90 deg C has been studied. By the methods of chemical, X-ray phase analyses and IR spectroscopy compositions of equilibrium solid phases are ascertained. It is shown that isotherms of density, viscosity and electric conductivity of equilibrium liquid phases are in agreement with solubility isotherm of scandium sulfate in sulfuric acid solutions at 90 deg C
