Study of the (p, pd) reaction on 14N with intermediate-energy protons

Description
The 14N(p, pd)12C reaction induced by intermediate-energy protons has been studied making use of the photoemulsion data obtained from coplanar experiments in the entire phase space. The theoretical analysis is carried out in the effective t-matrix approximation DWETA taking coherently into account direct and two-stage (inelastic scattering and pickup at the first stage) processes. The effective t-matrix for the elastic pd scattering has been built. The calculation results for the 14N(p, pd)12C reaction agree well with the experiment
