Annual report scientific activities 1995
Description
This report summarizes the activities at TRIUMF for the year 1995. During this year the laboratory received a five year funding package from the federal government. The main components of the laboratory's program are the building of a new radioactive beam facility, Isaac, an 'in-kind' contribution to the Large Hadron Collider (Lhc) in CERN, basic science program of the cyclotron, an enhanced infrastructure role for experiments performed at external laboratories and a continuing program in technology transfer
