Electron transfer in silver telluride melt
Description
Experimental investigation of electron transfer in Ag2Te melt at different temperatures has been carried out. Apparent effective charges and mean diffusion coefficient of silver ions are calculated on the basis of the data obtained, and the ion component of total conductance of Ag2Te melt is also estimated. Successive change in the given characteristics in the series of silver halcogenides at anion substitution is marked. The negative behaviour of the temperature coefficient of electric conductivity in melts of silver sulfide and selenide is explained
