About the chances of sustainable energy breakthrough in Estonia
Description
A sustainable energy concept for the period of 2001-2050 is presented, based on the doctrine of sustainable development, which would guarantee not only the undiminished conversion potential of the domestic energy resources but would be sustainable in relation of the imported fuels as well. As a practical result of this concept, by the year 2050 the share of renewables in the primary energy supply would be more than 60% and the CO2 emission geared down to 3.3 tons per capita. (author)
