Description

In this paper, the effect of stochastic variability in meteorological conditions on toxic gas dispersion is explored and compared to other approaches that are used to base risk and safety related decisions concerning hazardous facilities. The results of our investigation show that using the classical' assumption of D5/F2 leads to significant diversification to the estimation of Risk with respect to a full range uncertainty analysis in the meteorological data set.
