Self-consistent determination of hard modes in hot QCD

Description
We determine self-consistently the hard-quark and hard-gluon modes in hot QCD. The damping-rate part in resummed hard-quark or hard-gluon propagators, rather than the thermal-mass part, plays the dominant role. copyright 1997 The American Physical Society
