Hadron mass calculations with lattice constituent quarks
Description
We extend previous work through a series of exploratory mass calculations of relevance to meson spectroscopy. We consider a definition for a kinetic quark mass and the order-1/ma2 correction to the qq-bar static potential due to creation and annihilation of virtual qq-bar pairs. We also obtain the spectrum of our order-1/ma2 meson effective Hamiltonian in a reduced basis of states consisting of a static quark and antiquark separated by one lattice spacing, with the gluonic field in its ground state.
