Splitting of optical resonant modes in Fabry-Perot microresonators

Description
A splitting of optical resonant modes in Fabry-Perot microresonators based on SnOx/α-SiOx:H with distributed Bragg reflectors has been investigated experimentally. The splitting appears at large angles of the incidence of polarized light on the external boundary of the microresonator. A theoretical model of the splitting, which permits to describe all observed features of the splitting quantitatively, has been developed

Экспериментально исследовано расщепление резонансных оптических мод в микрорезонаторах Фабри-Перо с распределением брэгговскими отражателями на основе SnOx/α-SiOx:H. Расщепление проявляется в поляризованном свете при больших углах падения на внешнюю границу микрорезонатора.
