Analysis of the 11B(p,σ0)12C reaction in terms of the direct-semidirect model

Description
The experimental data for the 11B(p,σ0)12C reaction in the proton energy range of 0.5--14 MeV were analysed within the framework of the direct-semidirect capture model. This analysis reveals an enhanced coupling of the GDR with the incident proton d/sub 5/2/ wave consistent with the microscopic structure of the GDR in the 12C nucleus
