A global comparison of power station technology

Description
For the third time, one of the most important conferences on power station technology was held in The Hague from Sept. 13-16 with 1500 participants from 30 countries. Experts from 8 countries talked about the present situation and development trends in conventional and nuclear power station engineering, environemntally-friendly power station technologies, CO2-reduction and the Franco-German reactor concept: the European Pressurised water reactor. This article gives an overview of all papers presented at the conference. (orig.)

Vom 13. bis 16. September 1994 fand in Den Haag zum dritten Mal einer der weltweit bedeutendsten Kongresse ueber Kraftwerkstechnik statt. Vor ueber 1500 Teilnehmern aus rd. 30 Nationen referierten Fachleute aus acht Laendern ueber Stand und Perspektiven der konventionellen und nuklearen Kraftwerkstechnik, ueber die Weiterentwicklung umweltfreundlicher Kraftwerkstechniken und ueber ihre Beitraege zur CO2-Reduzierung sowie ueber das deutsch-franzoesiche Reaktorkonzept: den Europaeischen Druckwasserreaktor EPR.
