Hypernuclear experiments at KEK

Description
Hypernuclear experiments at the National Laboratory for High Energy Physics (KEK, Japan) are reported with emphasis on the recent results of the (Stopped K-, π) spectroscopy for Σ hypernuclei. The stopped-K method was proved to be powerful to study hypernuclear physics especially for Σ hypernuclei. An extended experiment with an upgraded detector system is now under running. Another hypernuclear experiment using the (π+,K+) reactions is also programmed and will run in this year
