A feasibility study of measuring CP-violation of B-decays with a pp collider experiment
Description
The feasibility of measuring CP-violation in B-meson systems at the Large Hadron Collider with a mainstream collider experiment has been studied. The decay channel Bdo → ψKso was investigated in detail by simulating the acceptance and resolution of an experiment proposed to be built for LHC. Compared with dedicated b-physics experiments planned for LHC and other accelerators, the sensitivity of a general purpose detector in measuring CP-violation in ψKso final states was found to be similar.
