Light wave conductor as a medium of modern image transmission
Creators
Description
Industrial fiberscopes render posssible the sight-optical testing of technical cavities which are not accessible directly as, for instance, over a straight-lined channel. Thereby, one uses the fact that glass fibers, having a diameter in the micrometer range, can serve not only as light conductors but also as image conductors. The nowadays available fiberscopes allow for solving a lot of tasks which cannot be mastered by othermeans. Applying these fiberscopes, one can also record movement progresses uninterruptedly on a film or on a magnetic tape. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
(orig.)Additional details
