Description
Derivation of the multifluid equations by means of the Chapman endash Enskog method is considered. The forces of inter-species friction and the rates of energy exchange due to elastic collisions are calculated taking into account the effect of the relative motion of the species and of the non-equality of their temperatures on the frequency of inter-species collisions. copyright 1997 American Institute of Physics
