Fast neutron spectroscopy at the EGP-10-1 tandem accelerator

Description
A device for time-of-flight spectrometry of fast neutrons at the tandem EGP-10-1 is described. The pulsing system is able to produce ion pulses with minimum half-width of 0.6 nsec. The neutron detector permits an n-γ discrimination. For monitoring (p,n) reactions, the use of a semiconductor counter was very profitable. From the measured line spectra and continuous ones cross sections have been derived with the aid of computer programmes. (author)
