Study of the impact of the global warming on the hurricanes behavior in the north atlantic basin

Description

Two high resolution experiments have been analyzed in order to determine the changes simulated by the model in terms of trajectories number, days number and structure of the hurricanes of the north atlantic ocean. A software of mean latitudes depression, developed at Meteo-France, has been adapted for the hurricanes detection need. A composite analyze shows that, even their different response, the two experiments see their rains associated to the hurricanes systems increase in a warming climate. (A.L.B.)
