Photooxidation of L(-)-tryptophan by uranyl ions
Description
Photodecomposition of L(-)-tryptophan by uranyl sensibilized ions is conducted. The products of photooxidation are characterized as kynurenine and N-formylkynurenine. Possible mechanism of L(-)-tryptophan photooxidation is suggested
