Description
Prostate cancer is common cancer in elderly males. Radiolabeled prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) inhibitors are excellent candidates for prostate cancer (PCa) theranostics. This paper highlights the potential of diagnosis and radionuclide therapy using PSMA targeting molecule for patients with prostate cancer. 68Ga-PSMA-11 and therapeutic doses of 177Lu-PSMA-617 could be prepared with high purity and high yield. The radiolabeled PSMA demonstrated selective accumulation and retention in prostate cancer lesions. The results of multiple therapies improved the life of patients. This investigation also helped to establish the potential of 68Ga/177Lu PSMA as theranostic pairs in the management of prostate cancer
