Luminescence and sorption-luminescence methods for determination of ruthenium and osmium with heterocyclic amines

Description
Luminescence methods have been developed for determination of Ru and Os with 1,10-phenanthroline in solutions with relative detection limits of 1x10-5 and 1x10-3 μg/ml respectively. Sorption-luminescence methods have also been worked out with absolute detection limits of 2x10-2 and 8x10-2 μg. An analytical scheme is described which enables the determination of 10-7-10-6 % Ru and Os in 5-10 g samples of ores and rocks
