Process for the characterization of pressed and sintered bodies
Description
Automatic translation: In this report, methods are presented according to which physical properties of pressed and sintered bodies are measured at the of pressed and sintered bodies are measured. The methods are described and their accuracy as well as the permissible sample dimensions are given. The methods almost exclusively allow measurements on specimens which are radioactive as a result of irradiation with radioactive as a result of irradiation with neutrons, provided that their dose rate per sample does not exceed 250 mrem/h at the surface. Abstract (German)
Im vorliegenden Bericht werden Methoden vorgestellt, nach denen im Institut für Reaktorwerkstoffe physikalische Eigenschaften von Preß- und Sinterkörpern gemessen werden. Dabei werden die Meßverfahren beschrieben und ihre Genauigkeit sowie die zulässigen Probenabmessungen angegeben. Die Methoden erlauben fast ausschließlich auch Messungen an solchen Probekörpern, die als Folge einer Bestrahlung mit Neutronen radioaktiv sind, sofern ihre Dosisleistung je Probe 250 mrem/h an der Oberfläche nicht überschreitet. Diese Angabe gilt nicht für die metallografischen Arbeiten.Files
