Determination of the enthalpy of formation of ions UOF5 and UO2F3 by the method of ionic-molecular equilibrium
- 1. Institute of High Temperatures, Academy of Sciences of the USSR
Description
Knudsen's effusion method is used in combination with mass-spectrographic recording of ions effusing from a cell in a vapor over uranyl fluoride to record ions UOF5- and UO2F3- and to study ionic molecular equilibrium with the participation of these ions. Their enthalpies of formation are obtained: ΔH0 /sub f/ 0(UOF5-) '' -2530 + or 40 kJ. mole-1, ΔH0 /sub f/ 0(UO2F3-) = -2090 + or - 40 kJ. mole-1
