On the application of a proportional counter to continuous monitoring of 222Rn concentration in the study of thermal diffusion in Rn-CO2 mixture
Description
A proportional counter has been used as a small thermodiffusional chamber for continuous measurements of 222Rn concentration in the study of the thermal diffusion process in the Rn-CO2 mixture by means of the two-bulb method. The design of the proportional counter has been described and the methods used for adjusting and continuous monitoring of its working point have been discussed. (Auth.)
