Complexing of alkaline earth metals with meso-2,3-diaminobutane-N-N'-dimalonic- and meso-2,3-diaminobutane-N,N'-disuccinic acids

Description
Presented are the results of pH-potentiometric study of Sr2+ complexing with meso-2,3-diaminobutane-N,N'-dimalonic acid (MA) and meso-2,3-diaminobutane-N,N'-disuccinic acid (SA). Sr2+ with two complexones forms complexes of the composition of ML2-, MHL-, and M2L. The stability constants of the complexes obtained have been determined. The Sr2+ complexes with SA are less stable than complexes with MA
