The influences of water utilization in thermal power plants on water pollution
Description
Handy nomogram systems have been developed according to which the water balance of the cooling systems - being the most important users of water - can be determined for any thermal power plants. Measurements from power plants have helped to support these approaches. A simulation model taking into consideration also the water quality apart from the waste flow can be applied in any drainage areas. (DG)

Handliche Nomogrammsysteme wurden entwickelt, nach denen fuer beliebige thermische Kraftwerke die Wasserbilanz der Kuehlung als wichtigster Wassernutzer bestimmt werden kann. Zur Untermauerung der Ansaetze dienten Messungen aus Kraftwerken. Ein Simulationsmodell, das neben dem Abfluss auch die Wasserguete beruecksichtigt, ist in beliebigen Flussgebieten anwendbar.
