On the core radius for a track of charged particles in a condensed medium
Description
The expression describing excited state distribution in a charged particle track has been obtained by the classical electrodynamics methods. The formulae for the track core radius and the size of region captured by the collective excited state of the plasmon type are derived. Effect of the aggregate state on distribution of excited states in the track is discussed
