Description

The objective of this work was to study different aspects of stochastic processes of neutron fluctuations. The problem of neutron fluctuations was treated directly by studying the behaviour of neutron flux and indirectly by studying the fluctuations of gamma flux. It was shown that both approached are justified. Advantages and deficiencies of both are pointed out. A number of experiments was done at the RB zero power reactor in order to justify the space dependent approach to this problem. Existence of spatial effects was found at frequencies above 2 Hz
