Description
Stellite 6 (Co base alloy) Colomnoy 5 (Ni base alloy) and Cerium Z 20 (Fe base alloy) are compared for fretting corrosion at 700C in a solution containing boric acid. Stainless steel 304 is also tested for corrosion only. Cerium gives better results than Colmonoy
