Determination of the Flux Distribution Produced by a Source in an Undercritical Reactor. Dragon Project Report

Description

For instrumentation purposes it is necessary to know the flux distribution produced by sources when the reactor is in a shutdown condition. This also enables the position and the sensibility of the instruments concerned in the reactor start-up to be chosen. Such a problem could be solved numerically with the Hassitt Mercury computer programme, (Ref. 1) but difficulties in convergence have been encountered.
