Dynamical analysis of a facility including the base and the equipment
Description
The paper presents a description of the methodology and the results from the dynamical calculations for a 'Phantom' aircraft impact on the reactor building and following calculations for the piping system in the same building after the aircraft fall. The response accelerograms from the dynamical analysis for the reactor building are used as initiating event. The calculations are made using the finite elements method. The mechanical model of the base uses the Foigt model (coils and dampers in parallel connection). The calculations are made for six different cases of the impact of the aircraft with the facility. The developed method permits to assess the stressed dynamical conditions of the system and stability in a dynamical system taking into account the spatial properties of construction and equipment as well as and susceptibility and inertial properties of the base grounds
