Possibility of using ionizing radiation for growing Pleurotus Sp
Creators
- 1. Poznan Agricultural University, Department of Vegetable Crops, Poznan (Poland)
Description
The aim of experiment was to determine the influence of ionizing radiation on growth and development of mycelium of Pleurotus sp. The growth of mycelium depended on cultivar and radiation dose, while the length of spore germination Pleurotus sp. - on radiation dose. The germination was accelerated by irradiation with 0.1 and 0.2 KGy and did not depend on the cultivar. The mycelial yield was influenced by the cultivar and radiation dose. (author)
