Numerical treatment of the magnetohydrodynamic flow bounded by an infinite porous plate
- 1. University of Patras, Patras, Greece
Description
The scheme and some numerical results obtained for the problem of one dimensional flow and heat transfer of an electrically conducting fluid, subject to an external transverse and constant magnetic field, when the fluid moves on the one side of an infinite non-conducting and porous plate which in general moves in the same direction with the fluid, is exposed. The results produced were found to be satisfactory by comparison with other results obtained from analytical treatment of cases corresponding to simplified body forces and conditions of motion.
