Federal government uranium and nuclear industry policies

This paper reviews problems in the uranium and nuclear industries as perceived by the Canadian government. The two major issues facing the Canadian uranium industry are the unstable market and the proposed legislation restricting imports into the United States. In both situations the author sees some hope. The nuclear industry review carried out in the early 1980s saw few prospects until the mid to late 1980s.
