X-ray functional examination of respiratory system in miners-coalers in pneumoconioses

A differential study of respiratory function in 207 coal miners with pneumoconiosis is conducted with regard to the type stage of disease and roentgenomorphological type of fibrosis. For this purpose two-phase roentgenopneumography (RGPG) with chess patteon and two-phase spiral pneumoroentgenography (SPRG) are used. Lung ventilation failures, indications of phreno-costal and mediastinal deficiency under pneumoconiosis are revealed using PGPG and SPRG methods. It is shown that the lung ventilation abilitz failures depend on the type of pneumoconiosis, the stage of the disease and on the roentgenomorphological fibrosis. 3 refs
