Measurement of regional cerebral blood flow by single photon emission CT (Tomomatic 64) and its clinical application
- 1. Iwate Medical Coll., Morioka (Japan). School of Medicine
Description
The features of the instrument for single photon emission CT by Xe-133 inhalation (Tomomatic 64: Medimatic A/S) and its clinical application and the results were reviewed. This instrument revealed relatively small intracranial hematomas and ischemic lesions in the early stage, providing useful for the follow-up of time-course changes. It was also useful for studying lesions in deep portions of the brain. (Chiba, N.)
