Description
Excitation and ionization processes in collisions of atomic hydrogen with antiprotons (p-bar) are studied in the energy range of 1-500 keV. A time-dependent Schroedinger equation is solved directly by using a discrete-variable-representation technique. For the electron radial coordinate, the numerical mesh is constructed from generalized Laguerre quadrature points. The Laguerre mesh is found to be numerically efficient, and is very useful to study the problems of ionization as well as electronic excitation. (author)
