On the recombination lines of excited hydrogen from compact radio galaxies and quasars

Description
The structure of spectra of compact radiosources identified with galaxies and quasars is analysed. The spectra with flexure point in the high frequency region (>=5 GHz) are considered. It is assumed that the spectrum droop is due to absorption of synchrotron source irradiation by ionized hydrogen near by the source. It is shown that in such spectra excitation lines of hydrogen in absorption may be found out. Such lines may be found out by means of RATAN-600 radiotelescope and Bonn 100 metre radiotelescope
