Calculation of bremsstrahlung spectra for an arbitrary photon exit angle

Description
A semiempirical method for calculation of bremsstrahlung spectra for arbitrary photon exit angle in the 1-60 MeV energy range is developed. A new scheme for calculation of electron angular distribution in a brems strahhung target using the first two members in Molliere distribution is sugested electron energy losses with growth of target thicknss are accounted more correctly, varying thickness of the target layer is used. A conclusion on applicability of the semiempirical method for calculation of bremsstrahlung spectra in a wide range of electron energies for arbitrary photon exit angles is made; the method has some advantages as compared with the Monte-Carlo method; particularly, it results in essential saving of time for computerized calculation
