A new formulation for the problem of fuel cell homogenization

Description
A new homogenization method for reactor cells is described. This new method consists in eliminating the NR approximation for the fuel resonance and the Wigner approximation for the resonance escape probability; the background cross section is then redefined and the problem studied is reanalyzed. Abstract (Portuguese)
Descreve-se um novo metodo de homogeneizacao da celula de combustivel. Este novo metodo consiste em eliminar a aproximacao NR para as ressonancias do combustivel e a aproximacao de Wigner para a probabilidade de escape a ressonancia; em seguida redefine-se a secao de choque 'background' e reanaliza-se o problema estudado.
