Some applications of scintiscanning to radiation therapy
Description
The authors describe simple localization techniques which combine the technology of nuclear medicine and the clinical needs of beam direction treatment planning in supervoltage radiation therapy. Although they are not a substitute for simulation, they do have certain advantages over radiographic methods. None require more than ten minutes once the routine has been established and all necessary equipment made readily available.
