Foreword

Consecutive establishing of independent internationally accredited radiochemical laboratory according to STN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 on the territory of Faculty of Natural Sciences, Comenius University, the Department of Nuclear Chemistry contributes at solution of projects out of university sphere as well as at identification of radioactive handhold in the case of illegal entry of nuclear materials. Essentially expanded an existing collaboration with economic sphere, including Slovenske elektrarne a.s. (ENEL, a.s.) as well as with its NPPs in Jaslovske Bohunice and Mochovce, VUJE, a. s., AMEC Nuclear Slovakia, s.r.o., HUMALAB - APECO, s.r.o., JAVYS, a.s., Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic.
