Description

The detector response function is the probability that radiation of a given energy interacting in a detector produces a pulse height corresponding to a specified energy. Detector response functions are used to predict pulse-height spectra from incident energy spectra, which are commonly computed in nuclear measurement models. They are also used to solve inverse problems from measured pulse-height spectra
