Description

The formation mechanism of field regions of increased or reduced electron concentration - plasmaspheric ducts (PD) - stretched along the magnetic filled as a result of the local change of plasma pressure in the foundation of the force tube is investigated. It is shown that if wave precipitations of the meridional velocity of neutral wind in the F2 region of the ionosphere are the reason of pressure variations, then the charged particle concentration in PD is to increase in comparison with the neighbouring background regions. In this case PD will be, more than likely, formed in the morning and in the evening, as well as when the geomagnetic activity increases
