Description
A potassium content in high purity gadolinium oxide reagents, which is a component of the detector for the neutrino in the 'KASKA' project, was determined by photoactivation analysis. Applying radiochemical processing, 0.1 ppm of upper limit was obtained. The gadolinium oxide reagent determined in this study was confirmed to meet the request for materials in the detector. (author)
