Description

A methodology is described for digital radiology. A system has been designed which controls all the physical and technical parameters of radiological devices, following an off-line approach. The radiographic images taken by radiodiagnostic devices are firstly digitized with a high resolution microphotometer, then preprocessed and at last they are analyzed by automatic control procedures for comparisons, exposure characteristic detection, contents check and normalized outputs and archiving.
