The electrokinetics of Apatite,Calcite and Magnetite from Kaluwe phosphate ore in aqueous solutions

Description

A study of electrokinetic properties of Apatite,Calcite and Magnetite was conducted on samples from Kaluwe Phosphate ore using the microelectrophoresis technique.The results indicate : iso-electric point occurred at pH 3.8, 6.1 and 4.1 respectively;the results were found to be different from those obtained in similar studies in Christmas Island and Mexico;different results were obtained using distilled water and water from Kaluwe. 7 refs., 2 figs
