Description
Synovial chondromatosis is a benign neoplastic process in which the nodules are formed in the intra-articular synovial membrane, in the tendon or the bursa. It is primary (idiopathic) and secondary.Most often affected joints are the knee, hip, ankle and shoulder. Clinical symptoms include pain, swelling and limitation of movement of the affected joint. The main imaging methods, which prove the disease are MRI, CT and radiography
